Sun JRE is in Partner Repository, make sure you have this repo enabled. It seems that the same problem was already reported for 10.10 without gaining any attention.Īssuming that Java is the source of the problem and you use the default JRE (OpenJDK), you could try Sun JRE instead of OpenJDK. However the same crash was reported for OpenJDK. It can create and store an embedded database or connect to external databases.
Edit: I've missed that Geoffrey is already using Sun JRE and so far it seems that OpenJDK may fix this problem. Tools Both LibreOffice and Apache OpenOffice offer essentially the same set of apps (Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw, Base and Math), but LibreOffice also includes a tool called Charts. Base is the database front-end component of LibreOffice.
